Easily automate the process of posting new listings to your Facebook page with Zapier.
The first step to creating a Zap is to install and activate the free WordPress plugin they provide. This plugin allows Zapier to find and make changes to content on your site through any Zaps you set up. As soon as you’ve activated the plugin, we can start creating your automated workflow.
1. Create your Zap
\
The first thing you need to do when you’re inside the Zap editor is set up your trigger. The trigger is the event that initiates the Zap. Choose WordPress as the trigger app and New Post as the trigger event, and then click Continue.
2. Connect your WordPress account
You’ll be asked to log in to your WordPress account. Click Continue once you’ve connected your account.
You can now set up your trigger options.
Select Published as your listing status. Choose “Listings” under Post Type.
After you’ve signed in the next step is to set up how your post will look on Facebook
3. Set up your action
You can click within any field to pull in information like street address (Title) and featured images from your listing.
4. Test your action
After everything has been set up to your liking, click Continue. In order to make sure your Zap is set up correctly, you’ll need to post a test to Facebook.
Your Zap can now be used by you once you are happy with everything.
You have now created an automated workflow without writing any code.
