If you’re running our IDX please refer to its documentation the below does not apply.
You’ll use Appearance > Menus to build out your navigation. What you can do is use the Advanced search area and select one or mulitple taxonomies to search on and that URL that is generated you can use to build a Custom Link for your navigation.
For instance:
- All Listings or “Find A Home”:
https://yourdomain.com/?search-listings=true - For Sale & San Diego:
https://yourdomain.com/?ct_city=san-diego&ct_ct_status=for-sale&search-listings=true - For Rent:
https://yourdomain.com/?ct_ct_status=for-rent&search-listings=true - 1 Car Garage:
https://yourdomain.com/?ct_additional_features=1-car-garage&search-listings=true - 3 Beds:
https://yourdomain.com/?ct_beds=3&search-listings=true - For Sale, 2+ Beds, $500k to $650k:
https://yourdomain.com/?ct_ct_status=for-sale&ct_beds_plus=2&ct_price_from=500000&ct_price_to=650000&search-listings=true

Tip: When building your main “Find a Home” or “MLS Search” link you want to first lead them into your own personal listings &ct_idx_agent=firstname-lastname or your office/brokerages &ct_brokerage=123456 (How do I find my brokerage ID?), or a specific zip code or price range you specialize in, targeting your demographics. Rather than general MLS data, then from there, they can tailor their own search parameters. This way you’re initially directing high-intent leads to what you want them to see first, creating a funnel.
